Mufti Day and stuff.... =]

On Tuesday we are having a fundraiser Mufti Day and Disco because Whaea Emilys Son has been invited to play soccer at a experts tournment somewhere else on the other half of the world and they need 6 grand to pay for him to go.
This Weekend is the 40 Hour Famine and I'm doing the no talking famine which is really hard!!!!!!!

Sustainability At School

At School our syndicate are learning about sustainability.
Each of the four classes in the syndicate create an island designing the shape the name the size and what land marks they each are significant for.
Each class has two items and my class have coal and gold, and the class next to us have uranium which is worth nothing while their teacher thought it was worth AL OT :P !!!!!
The group of four islands are called The Matai Islands.
Each class comes up with jobs that are important and that most communities would need like a builder or an electrician.
My job is being a Architect.
I am really looking forward to going further into this project as the term progresses!

My Favorite movie of all time

My Favorite movie of all time is definitely Marley & me,

Its a cute touching and meaning ful movie about mans best friend.

I cried the first time I saw it.

It's definitely a movie every dog owner and dog lover should see and before you go you should read the book to but make sure its the novel book called, Marley, a dog like no other by John Grogan.

` What is a succesful learner '

In my class we are doing a group presentation on `What is a successful learner?'
To do this we are going to film with a video camera and speak in our groups
of 3 about what we have come up with of what traits a successful learner
has like, a successful learner is a self manager, they have a positive attitude
towards learning, they contribute to class discussions, and they listen to
what others have to say.
I will enter more posts to do with my learning and clearer understanding
to this later on in the term.
